Whole Exome Sequencing (Sequencing Only)
Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) targets and sequences all protein-coding regions of the human genome — the exons — which represent approximately 1–2% of the genome but contain the majority of known disease-causing variants.
This test provides high-depth sequencing data for research or clinical analysis purposes. The “Sequencing Only” option includes raw sequencing data (FASTQ/BAM/VCF files) and quality metrics but does not include variant annotation, clinical interpretation, or report generation.
Applications:
Identification of single nucleotide variants (SNVs) and small insertions/deletions (indels) in coding regions
Research on genetic predisposition to diseases
Further downstream bioinformatics or clinical analysis
Deliverables:
Raw data files (FASTQ/BAM/VCF)
Sequencing quality report
